Emergency Financial Assistance

Our local community partners can provide emergency financial assistance with non-perishible food items and assistance with utility bills. They are also able to assist with other short-term needs on a case by case basis.

Kings’ Things is an ecumenical pantry and community relief effort that is funded by second-hand clothes and furniture stores on Kings’ Hwy in Swedesboro. Kings’ Things can provide temporary relief, and they can also connect you with other local resources for long-term stability.

St. Vincent de Paul Society is an international organization with local chapters in Catholic communities throughout the world. They provide non-perishible food donated by members of the community, as well as short-term financial assistance with rent, utilities and other needs on a case-by-case basis. Services offered through Catholic Charities Family and Community Services Centers are available to all, regardless of religious denomination, race, gender, or immigration status. Services include a food pantry (call for hours) nutrition education, and assistance with enrolling for SNAP benefits; utility and rental assistance, services for returning veterans and asset development for first time homebuyers.
