Stephen Ministry

Stephen Ministry is one-to-one Christian care for anyone who is experiencing grief, divorce, job loss, chronic or terminal illness, or any other life-changing event. Trained Stephen Ministers are members of the parish community who have received 50 hours of training. They offer support through prayer, listening and companionship during weekly hour-long sessions. Some important guidelines for this caring relationship protect both the care receiver. Women are paired with women, men are paired with men, and the care-giving alliance is confidential.
